Liquid Grids

‘Liquid Grids’ explores the interplay between structured lines and fluid, biomorphic forms. The starting point for these paintings was the sensation of being immersed in water. As the project grew, the paintings incorporated observations from a spectrum of disciplines - economists, psychologists, climate crisis experts - about the mismatch between the models that we use to understand the world around us and the messy ambiguities of reality.
