Back in the classroom

Give me a soapbox to stand on, and I will happily wax lyrical about the creative process. So I was delighted when St Clare’s invited me to give an artist talk at their International Summer School students.

I spoke to them about finding inspiration in everyday places, adapting your methodologies to your surroundings, and using obstacles as opportunities to flex into new areas. It was also a chance for me to show some of my new work to an audience while it is still taking shape. The great thing about crafting a talk is that it forces you to corrall your nebulous thoughts into some sort of coherent narrative - a useful process!
