Autumn workshops
It’s back to school time, and I have lots of autumn workshops coming up:
Drawing at Dusk - Worcester College, Oxford
Thursday 17 October, 6-8pm
This meditative drawing workshop will take place after the sun has set, in the beautiful gardens of Worcester College, as part of the science & ideas festival, IF Oxford.
Timed to coincide with the full moon, we’ll move quietly through the twilight using non-visual sensory prompts to guide our drawings and find new ways to represent our experience on the page.
This is an outdoor all-weather workshop, so wrap up warm and join a new adventure into experimental drawing.

Drawing Dinosaurs - Museum of Natural History, Oxford
Saturday 26 October, 10.30-12.30
This drawing workshop coincides with the museum’s celebration of the 200th anniversary of the discovery of the first dinosaur, the Megalosaurus, by William Buckland and the work of Mary Morland, a fantastic scientific illustrator.
Taking the dinosaur exhibits as our starting point, we’ll explore the artefacts as if discovering them for the first time, and use drawing experiments to develop your own personal dinosaur.

Candlelit Drawing with Cacao - Saturday 26th October, 5.30-7pm
We’ll be welcoming in autumn with an extra-special life drawing class at EveryBody Studio. Working by candlelight with a cup of Mexican cacao (or a glass of wine if you prefer), we’ll enjoy some meditative and playful drawing with our wonderful life model Naomi.
